the majority of what i wrote was about how wonderful&beautiful it was, NOT how easy it was. there are always "tricks of the trade" for ANY virtuoso e.g. ultra light gauge strings, super low action, etc. The technique of slap/tap harmonics IS easy. i NEVER wrote that ANY of HIS use of this technique in this piece of music was.

awesome. but i'm more blown away by the sheer musicality&melody of it than his technique. he plays with total conviction. brilliant. but it may not be quite as tough as you think. tuning to a pretty chord, using some ultra light strings&having super low action, all help him a lot. slap/tap harmonix are fairly easy--at least on a basic level. no sour grapes here tho. i loved it: a mix of virtuosity&melody reminiscent of the great Michael Hedges (RIP).

This is completely impossible to play on a keyboard you tool. He's using harmonics and hitting the body like a percussion instrument.
