The world is counting down the final hours before the Summer Games kick-off in Beijing. Meanwhile, it's thought some of the world's leaders arriving in the Chinese capital for the opening ceremony might use the sporting event as a chance to score some political points.

holy shit man... way to dig up dead posts... I'm not denying that McCain would have been a train wreck for the country. But don't be fooled. Obama will keep us in the middle east (he's said so himself). He will keep spending money that we dont have on welfare programs and bailouts, and we'll continue to dig ourselves into a deeper and deeper hole. Thats right! the olypics are no place for politics... just blind nationalism! My country is better than yours, nana nana boo boo, we have a gold medal. Somehow when some random person in my general area that I don't even know wins a gold medal, it gives me some sense of personal accomplishment in the fact that they live near me...

okay it was far easier to sell the myth to the flyover states that iraq was directly involved in 9/11, but the fact is we needed to invade iraq to protect the american economy.
