what a memory trip! I still sing this song in my head whenever I have to count to twelve! hahaha Wow. I now have my answer as to why all these trippy images arise in my head and dreams spontaneously. It's from this sequence!

I love Sesame Street- and clearly it's helping. What is our generation doing? We're cleaning up the environment, inventing Hybrids, mostly getting along, and we can all count up to 12. :)

Awesome dude.. I never knew that the pointer sisters sang all these bits... May it be here forever.. As far as ELMO Street is concerned this is far more fun.. Sesame Street sold out to Elmo and to JIM HENSON.. I can't believe they got rid of great stuff like this in favor of that little red FUCKER... AAAAAAHHH! Sad state of afairs for Sesame workshop...

This could've been our first taste of bow-chicka-bow-wow! Listen to that 70's funk, while watching how the ball rolls and sets off sparks... ooohh sexy. :P good times.

Yeah, the wiggles have nothing on Sesame Street musically. Sesame was my earliest musical influence. I'm in my mid 30's now, and it is sesame that I blame for me becoming a musician. Damn you, Joe Raposo! Damn you, Jeff Moss! (I mean this in the nicest possible way)

Gotta love that nasty funk!!! The 70´s were my favorite years, there was kind of a happy vibe, and us kids learned much from popular culture in shows like this. Where do you hear Stevie Wonder playing live or numbers artfully sung into some trippy funk, such as this one, nowadays? Maybe I´m old, but if I had the Teletubbies or craplike that as a kid I´d rather do something else. Great clip.
