I remember Aznavour from the variety shows in the '60's. I do like Elvis Costello's version better. Maybe because I heard it first. Charles sings it too fast.

Hello APSdR.thanks for that reply and correcting my spelling,and there is no such thing as middle age these days ,the love of music past and present keep us all young,yes that is the theme music for that programm,I remember very well,every saturday night,my brother and I watched it,and thats when I fell in love with charles,actually his greatest hits CD is a must for you,I must make a list of songs for you.
