Cheerleading stunt goes wrong - disturbing videoSeptember 25th, 2006A stunt goes horribly wrong when a Texascheerleader is flipped in to the air and lands on her back. It happened last week as the high school cheerleader squad was performing on Houston NBC affiliate. During the routine, she hit the ground while doing a basket toss. Her head and back hit the concrete pavement. She was rushed to the hospital but was released four hours later. She says she remembers the fall but then blacked out for a few seconds.But, don' worry Boo! She goin' ta be Ah-ite.She tuff.BTW... edited from the original version... I left out some of the reax. i don't agree.from the looks of it, the bases did their job.(the back did 'cup' her butt, which didn't help anything, but the two base girls seem to have thrown stragt up.)the flyer just tried to pull her toe-touch straight from the stunt group, and that was the end result.
