Omg I'm a huge Vai fan but Zappa does spank him a good one here, especially with that low run when Steve is standing by him looking at what he's playing. Steve learned from the Master.

Dude, this is just a jam. Completely improvised. Zappa was a composer above a rock star. He is the most remembered for his genius compositions.
