Yeah BUT in Level 1 cheerleading, you don't do back handsprings, that comes at Level 2
You may think it's easy as you can do it, but I bet when you first started, you found it hard :)

the snap down receives power by pushing from an arched position into a hollow position. You need to develop muscle control not a change in your actual technique.Standing next to a wall about a foot and a half away, Reach the hands up tall so that your shoulders are completely stretched open.Fall toward that wall and upon hitting the wall push off focusing on minimizing the length of time your hands are on the wall.The push should be in an upward forward direction not down and forward.Stay hollow

if you don't have a life other then just watching techniques on "advanced cheerleading" and then having arguments over who the better tumbler is at the youngest age over people you don't even know...you my friends are sad.
