That's funny because Canada is only 6% black. You can claim all the racial harmony you want when 88% of your population is white and you have low crime. In areas where crime and poverty exist is where incidents of racial tension is highest.

Whether he was 15 or 30 he was STILL A HUMAN being, HE was still a child! I don't see the problem in liking someone from the same sex, the problem is that PEOPLE ARE BEING KILLED because they are gay. Can you see that there are bigger problems. Larry was gay SO WHAT? well obviously there are issues with school cruelty, but i was just lucky enough to come from a smaller community i guess.people were much more understanding, no one cared about race, religion or sexual preference... you would have rednecks haning out with gay people and gay people hanging out with the religious people..everyone is the same..we all have skin, emotions, a brain, beliefs... who cares what kind? even if you may not like something that someone believes in..cant we be civil about it?

Sure, but in the end he still killed someone. And assuming the killer was older then 13, he should have understood death and realized it was wrong to kill that of his own kin. Now it really doesent matter when it comes to age. A crime is a crime. Killing is killing. Nothing more, nothing less.

He also just turned 14 years old when it happened and he doesn't deserve to be locked away for the rest of his life. He committed the crime as a juvenile and should be charged as a juvenile, especially considering the age. If he was 16 or 17, they would have reason to charge him as an adult but 14 being tried as an adult is fucked up

You saw Larry as the victim, and I saw Brandon as the victim. He wasn't killed because he was gay and it's not like I'm trying to justify what he did. So when a person kills another he should not be punished? What if someone killed someone you loved? Would you still be thinking the same?

And yes, two wrongs don't make a right, neither does one. But when it comes to locking up a killer, you are punishing someone who did a wrong, who DESERVES to be punished, and also probally saving lives.
