Cliffhanger! Yeah. My favorite part was the Ninja battle. Friends used to give me quarters to watch me finish the game. Has the Daphne emulator found a working version of it yet? I couldn't remember a quarter of the moves in that game I bet- there were a million!

My friend, Paul's brother Len, worked with Don Bluth together as the art director for Titan AE. They were actually pretty close but then I forget exactly what happened, Don Bluth moved on and Don Bluth Studios was no more.

Cliffhanger was the best, i remember playing that 1 all the time over here at numero uno pizza. What memories, damn. I actually downloaded it awhile back and found an emulator called daphne that plays nothing but all the oldschool classic laserdisc animated games. Its awesome to play these rare ones again exactly how they were, you just have to seek out the roms.

Different level order, and there were a few levels that appeared in the home version that didn't appear in the arcade version. Also, some of the timings were different between the two. As I recall, the home version was actually HARDER in some spots...

Space Ace will be out sometime this year or early next year.

Guernicaman (March 5, 2008 at 4:39 am)
Please, Digital Leisure, try and make this game available on XBLA! I realize there's a cap on XBLA games, but MS has gone on record saying they can make exceptions on certain titles.

Is it out for rent as well?
gamebuyer22 (February 5, 2008 at 7:56 am)
Amazon has this on blu-ray for $20. They are bringing Dragon's Lair 2 and Space Ace to blu-reay also.
SBarsinister (January 27, 2008 at 5:11 pm)
What about other games like Dragon's Lair 2, Space Ace, Golgo 13?
KingPhantomLives (January 26, 2008 at 11:43 pm)
Obviously, but there's two modes:Arcade and Home. What's the difference between both?
SBarsinister (January 26, 2008 at 4:23 am)
There was suppose to be a movie prequal to this.
SBarsinister (January 26, 2008 at 4:22 am)
The DVD is the arcade version.
raptor047 (January 12, 2008 at 8:48 am)
a game. more like an interactive cartoon.
I came out for the arcades a long time ago in laserdisc (those that were the size of old LP vinyl records)
ResistanceForever (January 8, 2008 at 7:06 am)
is this a game or a movie?
typhonsentra (December 10, 2007 at 4:44 pm)
Wait, this is already out? I really want this...
Spentbrass (November 24, 2007 at 4:27 pm)
Why must Don Bluth make me want to get a PS3? I was so happy with my Wii and 360 but noooooooo! I've been in love with Dragon's Lair since I first saw it at Showbiz Pizza way back in 1980 whatever as a kid.
KingPhantomLives (November 7, 2007 at 7:31 am)
I never did get to buy the PS2/DVD version of it. What's the difference between Home and Arcade mode?
KingPhantomLives (November 7, 2007 at 7:22 am)
