In WW2 the Fw190 couldn't turn as good as the Spitfire, but it completely raped them over France. Air combat is about energy, not this silly airshow stuff that only makes you a bigger, slower target. A cobra won't out-maneuver a missile.

They can't exactly go faster at higher altitudes during airshow demos. Furthermore, there are some similarities between low altitude, slower speed flight, and higher altitude flight in that there is less air pressing against the planes control surfaces while it's performing maneuvers.

I love Su and MIgg..my son middle name is actualy Sukhoi and he does not even know he is named after russian fighter jets hahaha..But..to be honest..The F-22 is alot better than any russian fighter to "date"..BUT the russians and the indians are making the NEW Sukhoi PAK FA and that is a OMG plane..check it out:) might give the 22 a run for its money

I'm not sure what Foxnews, Europeans, blowing up houses, etc...has to do with the F-22, Su-35, etc...It'd be helpful to stay on topic and compare the relative merits of the various aircraft, such as how much airspeed does the plane bleed off when doing the agressive maneuvers. How quickly the aircraft regains speed. Controllability in high AoA regimes. Kinematic performance benefits of launching AAMs(or SDBs in the DEAD mission) at 65K feet AGL, at M1.8, situational awareness, etc...
