This is a seismic region. Strong earthquake>7 Richter is potentially possible. In example in this century Poland had a earthquake 5.2 Richter in north-east part, where is aseismic area.

Well, it's richter scale and its logritmic.So a point 4 eq is 10 tims more powerfull than a point 3, a point 5 would be 100 times stronger than a point 3 etc.

We hade one at 4,7 in southern sweden today. Felt like a train passed the house and well yeh, it had the sound of shaing buildings :)

But I guess they learned after this one they cant build weak junctions ^^ (as told by a documentary on Discovery)
