you can see the rotation in the light reflections from the 'radar screen' when it rotates.

The stage the people are on is a rotating platform, so when the curtain is up, the stage rotates so its facing a different circle of spotlights that are facing nothing. Also the radar is just a fake computer image.

it is way too simple. first of all, it stays there the whole entire time, the camera just moves when the curtain is raised. plus, the lights are just a distraction-- so is the curtain...
