Reply>RealityDetectiveWhat do you mean people shouldnt be losing their limbs in wars o_O? In case you havent noticed what a bullet can actually do to the human body as opposed to those movies that tone it down for content, losing a limb is VERY possible. A lot of the people who will need this are old veterans who didnt have the protection we have today anyway.

DeimosSaturn, you didnt read my post correctly. I said "religion doesnt really have all that much to do with it."
and you say "Third, Just acknowledge that religion had absolutely nothing to do with this ".
As for the free will issue, yeah, that was my mistake. Free will is a huge philosophical discussion with no definite answer. I was just stating my opinion.
Once again, religion has nothing to do with this.

Tell me, what is religion meant to be? What the people at the bottom tier of the religion get from it or what the people at the top tier of the religion use it as? Could it be that this idea of what religion is "meant to be" is just another divisive system to get people to not question? Religion is what it is. I don't care about the consolation prizes the followers talk about getting when the con men can't heal amputees.

Random and Unprovoked CRITICISM on religion. I didn't blow up a church. Just to note, you are trying to frame me as some sort of assailant. "Typical" comes to mind.
I was thinking about all these con artists who say they can heal people's ailments and why it is that they never seem to be able to heal amputees. I'm sorry you are so small minded as to find my commentary "rude" or "offensive".

kinnisonpaladin, you make the bold and baseless assertion that 1>free will exists, and 2>if it did exist, that religion is responsible for it. Have fun proving either or both of those assertions.
Second of all, I was making the comment in reference to those religions that make claims of healing people.
Third, Just acknowledge that religion had absolutely nothing to do with this accomplishment of engineering and perhaps stood in its way.

Soldiers better get these for free. I have absolutely no problem with my tax dollars going to give these men and women their lives back. I'd especially prefer to do that over paying salaries to idiot politicians that do nothing but sit around and vote to give themselves a pay raise.

Is English not your native language?
Of course I wouldn't want my enemies to cooperate. Is that what you meant?
But I would like to see ALL enemies cooperate. And thereby being annihilated.
Abraham Lincoln: "Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?"

Surely you aren't stupid enough to think cooperation by enemies will benefit anybody do you?

too bad you didn't mic the interviewees or perhaps EQ. the voices better... the volume between narrator and interviewees is not balanced... just a technical note... -otherwise-Awesome Video... can't wait to see what this company does next!
YTMbrianpeppersND (December 10, 2008 at 4:57 am)
...honestly, get a grip.
YTMbrianpeppersND (December 10, 2008 at 4:56 am)
sure they can. that's one of the features. but very few veterans (who have recently enough lost a limb, as the nerves must still be active)--only about two dozen I think--have lost both arms.
Anubis2134 (December 10, 2008 at 4:53 am)
they're probably still testing him with just the one for now. i highly doubt that they wouldn't be able to give him two.

HAHAHA nice. No chance in hell martial law will happen, unless the mainland is being overrun. You can take off the foil hat now.

Honestly if top engineers put their heads together and tried to tackle important topics like this with almost unlimited funding - imagine the creations. But I guess some people would rather spend their money on a 'news' rag detailing what sluiced out of Jennifer Aniston's crack the day after New Years. [sigh]

this technology is amazing, it is something great we can give back to those who lost limbs in service to our nation!
And in an article, it stated that there are veterans who would like to remain in service despite loss of an arm!
i'm a christian and i hope those working on these limbs are blessed, what they are doing is awesome, for those in who have served and lost limbs.

Maybe you should rethink what religion really is meant to be rather than only see what some corrupt people have made it appear. Im not religious at all and even I know that bro.
