does those three pins connect or get pushed into that white base, then that whole PCB is plugged into the computer by some sort of data cable? so that they can modify the data for the LCD screen??

I think the point of these videos is more to show what is involved and what the end result of the projects will be. I'm guessing that greater detail for the projects can be found on their website.I agree with you that it would be nice to have greater detail in the videos, but they would probably be a little long if they did that.

I am interested in electronics but i am sorry. You guys aren't making sense since you just jump right into the project without explaining a little more of how the project is built. I like how the projects are but its not easy for those who don't understand much on electronics. I am talking about beginners. I like your projects but i wish you could take a little time to give more info on the projects. I am just saying what i think. Some people might think otherwise. i am not saying anything bad.
