Marco van Basten is my favorite player in Milan and Ajax ever. The last goal in the Euro final 1988 vs USSR is best goal I ever have seen in Euro!

was van Basten left footed or right footed, because his first couple of strikes were with his left foot. I know a striker should be good with both, but thats ridiculous, if he was right footed. And if he's not then the one against USSR was even more ridiculous.

Van Basten was class at the European Championships in 1988 and 1992. He did not play well at the World Cup in Italy in 1990 due to a combination of injury and internal strife in the Dutch camp. He had to retire before the World Cup in USA in 1994 due to injury. He did not get to play at the World Cup in Mexico in 1986 as Holland were eliminated in a play off by Belguim in the Qualifiers. Belguim would reach the semi finals that year with players such as Enzo Schifo and Jan Cleumains.

Each great player is unique, people love watching them play, even Maradona despite all the drug problems he had, he did more for Napoli then anybody else has. Me personally don't like him but still, he has skills.
