This is misinformation. The study shows that that pot smokers are more likely to have mental illness. It does not say that the pot causes the mental illness. It is quite believable, in fact, that people with mental illness are more likely to smoke pot. Just as people with mental illness are more likely to engage in a whole host of other illegal and/or destructive behaviors.
This is just more misinformation and scare techniques from the right.

they are not smoking hemp...they are smoking weed. which is most certainly a drug. and as the movie goes on they go to cocain, pills,....viagra. lol. they get progressivly worse until the viagra part.

As long as smoke goes into your lungs your burning them and also alot of people that sell weed spray there weed with chemicals and those chemicals can muatate your cells to cancer cells wich is what causes the lung cancer and also can cause emphysema .

The problem with cocaine and heroin in our culture is the processing. Medicine, Inc. is trying to do the same thing to hemp by extracting the THC, but I seriously question the wisdom. The Lord knows what He's doing and hemp, consumed as is, has never killed anyone other than death by cop or court order, like what happened to Peter McWilliams who choked to death on his own vomit after being denied hemp, which helped him manage his nausea. A cannabis addiction can happen. but its a mental addiction rather then a physical addiction(tobacco-alcohol). If you smoke weed everyday for a year and suddenly stop, your gonna notice some changes, but they're not as severe withdrawal symptoms from nicotine, heroin, alcohol..

Dude, I used to be a marijuana enthusiast, I've smoked all kinds of marijuana. And I know all kinds of people who smoke it. I know a thing or two.
You can get a hangover (depending on who smokes it and what kind you smoke). Most weed I smoked gave me a hangover. You can get addicted to it (I got addicted to it and I know many people who are and it's destroying their lives). Over long term use, it has severe withdraw effects (many people have experienced these withdraw effects, not just me).
