My first attempt at chroma keying out a background. I used a $1 piece of cardboard from the newsagent.

Downloaded video from digital video camera to HD recorder via svideo cable, to DVD(MPEG2), then to Power Director saving as DivX AVI then Premier Pro for the keying. Keying quality would be better if I had a digital capture card so that I could import straight into Premier as the above process is lossy as you can imagine.

When I made this vid I did not have a tripod so sat the camera on a shelf on the other side of the room and used zoom. I now have tripod so can get closer if I want to do this effect.

cool.. yeah i used a 73 cent peice of poster from target.. the green outline takes a long time to keyout so i ususaly just blur it a lot..

Thanks :) It was just an A3 piece of green cardboard. I used green backgrounds to hide the green halo from a poor key. My next green screen video will have improved lighting and audio.
