I love how he's acting just like a baby, and all he has to do is scream to get what he wants. I hate that about this character, but that's also why I love it.

The way Kazan directed, and the way Brando was taught to act was to pull real emotions based on the ACTUAL characters, rather than digging into oneself and pulling up memories from past experiences or creating artificial "i'm going to pretend my dad died in a car accident so i can have a look of anguish" kind of feelings. It's more true to the character and the movie if an actor can go as far as to think that like that character and that's why Brando was such an amazing actor.

oh jesus. his back. look at his back! OUCH. you can really tell the difference bw guys trying to bulk up artificially nowadays and the body of a real, 100%, genuine man at the prime of his physique. yum.i love how in this sceme stanely feels so guilty and ashamed, he falls to his knees crying, and he's trying to apologize "you gotta believe me baby."... but all stella's concerned about is how hot he is and trying to do is fuck his brains out. love it. perfection.
