haha, i never lived in the 80's, but my dad did, and he LOVES this!!! we had it on vhs, and he would play it and luagh his ass off!!!! he loved all the crazy faces he made!!! i personally love this song!!! haha, yall don't know how bad i wish i lived in the 80's!!!!!!!!!!! i get depressed thinking about all the stuff i missed!!!!!!!!

I don't think that this song is dark. I think it is odd but lively at the same time. The breakdown seems spooky, though.

'80s visual effects creeped me out as a kid and they still do now but I think that's what makes them so good. Way more effective than CGI.
