United States Military

This is one of many slideshows / videos I have made supporting the U.S. Military. I am enlisted in the Marine Corps and go to MCRD San Diego on July 13. Please show your support by watching my videos and feel fry to stop by my channel or toss me a subscriber, I promise I don't bite!My videos and time spent on them are dedicated to Jason L. Dunham. Although I never knew or met the young Marine, his actions uphold and show what the Marine Corps tradition truly is about. Born November 10, 1981 (The Marine Corps birthday) he jumped on an enemy grenade, covering it with his helmet and saving the lives of two other Marines in exchange for his own. He died eight days later on April 22, 2004 at the age of 22. He later received the highest medal of the United States Military, the Medal of Honor. Cpl. Dunham's act of heroism will never be forgotten. Semper Fi.

You even said it your self, that brits planned it, and also British leaders were in charge of land, sea, and air forces on d-day, so really it would be because of the over confidence of british leaders, Monty is probably the best example, bragged he could take Caen in a day, yet he took his dandy time and took over a month to capture Caen.

We had DD tanks which were capable of floating. They worked well on Utah but the current on Omaha knocked them off course and when they tried getting back on course they turned into the current which cause water to flood the tank and preventing them from landing on Omaha, and causing the mass casualties. Not saying yalls beaches werent tough, but Omaha was the hardest to take as the tanks failed to make it ashore it was the biggest beach, and poor planning by british leaders.
warriorprince1010 (January 9, 2009 at 3:45 am)
The UK lost less casualties because we used gloating tanks, read about it.

We offered you these tanks and your leaders laughed and said no thanks.

All the beaches were tough but the USA leaders were over confident and inexperienced.
ctross91 (January 9, 2009 at 1:17 am)
Everyoine fought well on D-day, Omaha was just difficult because. It was probably the most heavily defended andwas the largest beach out of the five attacked, but it had to be seizedbecause the gap between Utah and Omaha Beach would have been too wide to holdif Omaha wasn't captured. Unfortunately, in the invasion of Omaha Beachnumerous flaws in planning almost certainly resulted in unnecessary loss of life. So, since it was planned by brits, your to blame for the almost failure.

Actually D-day was devised by Ishenhower and his joint staff of americans and brits. but mostly british generals were in charge. The only real British involvement at the bulge, was when the XXX Corps fought a battle and halted the German drive to the river Meuse. I give them credit for the victory, but americans also had to hold countless lines while outnumbered. More than the brits. Really, the UK did lose, in the beginning that is, yall were stuck on your island until until we entered.

Part 04: We defeated Sadam's "massive" million man army and ended the war with the nation-state of Iraq was over in about 9 days. What we are doign now is totally differnt. the global "extremist" miuslim terror organization has decided that Iraq is the place they will make their stand against us. We are NOW fighting most Saudi and Iranians fighting "on behalf" of their "muslim brothers" of Iraq and the rst of the world against the "Great Satan" that is the US...and we are winning VERY well :)!
teninchSTC (January 8, 2009 at 12:05 pm)
Part 03: Afhganistan; we pushed aside the Talaiban and 75% of Al'Queda in less than 3 months and now we're mainly doing territory holding and security operations. In Iraq 2nd time; We have killed or arrested about 90% of the insurgent leaders and officers adn are winnign more and more by higher and higher ratios everyday. WE defeated sada's army in 6 days this time and toppled his government in less than 2 weeks.
teninchSTC (January 8, 2009 at 12:01 pm)
Part 02: Korea, US army held the Commie tide for months outnubmerd 25 to 1, the n USMC came in and pushed them back so hard that they begged for China's help which they got and again we were outnumberd more than 15 to 1 o bad that even the desk clerks and cooks picked up their riffles and eventually defeated the enemy. In Iraq 1st time, US miltiary forces yet again outnumber 10 to 1 swept aside Sadam's army and elites in about 11 days of fighting, and pushed them back to Bahgdad.Gettin surrender
teninchSTC (January 8, 2009 at 11:55 am)
Part 01: SU Miltiary personnel are among the most professional peopel in the world. You must be to be successful in our military, or else you get drummed out. If you thik our soldiers lack the dedication here's some facts for you. 1. WWI our entire miltiary that fought were all volunteer when we had nothign to lose or gain by helping Europe. WWII 80% volunteers fought and died for the rst of the world at GREAt cost. Vietnam we won EVERY battle against the NVA and/or Kong even WAY outnumbered.
teninchSTC (January 8, 2009 at 11:51 am)
OK buddy boy.. if you actualll look at the FACTS of what the US military did compared to the USSR military. They got killed a lot more, we killed about 11 times the nazi soldier USSR did. Dieing more doesn't mean you did the majority of the fighting. We fought in Pacific, killing about 17 to one ratio against Japan; in Europe we fought back Nazism winning on a ratio of about 9 to 1; supplied USSR, china, france, french resistance, dutch resistance and Brittan all at the same time.
Bleh123 (January 8, 2009 at 5:57 am)
Also the manner in which they fought and won the war is not considered by us westerners as morally right or just. We in the US do not support using dogs as anti-tank weapons, we dont support deploying machine guns behind our lines to kill our own soldiers who fall back, we dont send our own soldiers to clear mine fields with thier feet or murder anyone who surrenders to us. We dont burn everything we come across and we dont send our soldiers into combat with no training or proper equipment.
Bleh123 (January 8, 2009 at 5:54 am)
Your right they did lose alot more people then the US but they also had alot more people to spare and many of those people they killed themselves!Im not saying they dont get credit, WE LET THEM HAVE BERLIN! they get to call it the "Great Patriotic War" There are statues and monuments all over the former USSR to their victory. You can play them in our ww2 games and see them in movies. Our history with the russians and the cold war leads us not to give praise to what they do as much as others
august180808 (January 8, 2009 at 4:36 am)
yea i know the japanese were absouloute cunts and deserved a good killing. but im just saying the soviet union did the brunt of the fighting against the main enemy of germany. i think an aknowledgement is needed for the russians they lost 5 times more people in stalingrad than america lost in the whole second world war. that is sacrifice
august180808 (January 8, 2009 at 4:33 am)
you really dont, u have the shit but not the soldiers, u could never do a stalingrad or any shit like that. look at vietnam, like what the fuck, vietnam. theres no will there. a 3rd of american soldiers in vietnam were addicted to herion do you think many vietcong were addicted to herion, u lack the dedication, the determination or the death or victory mindset that cosy comfortable living has robbed you of and are unwilling to deal with hardcore sacrifices
Bleh123 (January 8, 2009 at 3:03 am)
Your retarded ass fails to realise that Germany wasnt the only nation on the axis side. While we were fighting German and italian troops in africa, sicily, italy, france, etc. we were also fighting the Japanese practicaly by ourselves on the other side of the world who were planning on using biological plagues and chemical weapons on the russian hordes.

Do some research into the invasion of china and things like unit 731 its enough to justify running those jap fuckers into the dirt.
reYKCuf (January 8, 2009 at 2:57 am)
The truth is out there.
NJRocks281 (January 8, 2009 at 2:14 am)
The US was fighting the Germans in Africa and Italy in 1941, you dumb fucking prick. Thats hardly the end of the war. That opened up more fronts which pressured the Germans. If this did not happen along with Germany getting pounded by American aircraft, the Germans could have fended off the Soviets.
jw112490 (January 8, 2009 at 2:12 am)
well world war 2 would of been longer if the united states didnt come in and kick some ass gace it the united states military is soo powerful talking smack about our military online isnt gonna change the fact that we kick ass at wars
august180808 (January 8, 2009 at 2:10 am)
ur a bit wrong on the russia issue. the germans were pretty much destroyed by russia, 90% of germans soldiers killed in the war were killed by russians.(it is quite an amazing fact)russia could have easily taken germany by this time they outnumbered them greatly in every way even if the german troops were drawn in from the west. the U.S joined the war when germany was bacsicaly finished, and there main reason for doing so was to stop the russians taking full control of europe.
LSRochon (January 8, 2009 at 1:02 am)
US still hasn't won in IRAQ...it's still on.

NJRocks281 (January 8, 2009 at 12:29 am)

NJRocks281 (January 8, 2009 at 12:28 am)
America doesn't take all the credit, but you people rape history in an effort to make the US look bad. The US is responsible for 95% of Japans defeat. Sure the Aussies helped a bit, but not all that much relatively speaking. The Russians may have temporarily been able to push the Germans out of their country, but they would have been back. There's no way in hell Russia could have invaded Germany if the US wasn't there. The Germans would have been back not making the same mistake twice.
LSRochon (January 8, 2009 at 12:20 am)
...when the German decided to invade Russia(a full 4 years before US) they made one big strategic mistake...they invaded during one of the coldest winters...
German tanks also no match for the Russian tanks......the large death toll of Russian Soldiers in turn decimated the majority of German troops and resources...

and you gotta thank the Aussies/Phillipines to for also taking on japan

quit taking all the credit...the world knows better
