No matter what person around the world who performs this masterpiece is expressing the wonderful spirit of Gods music through the mind and heart of Ennio Morricone. Thank You Ennio and Thank You Lord for beautiful music!

well oboe doesn't exactly take much air but lots of air speed which is hard for dynamics and also the pressure we get when we play is extremely unbearable but yeah any way this is great

I heard oboe players and trumpet players lose brain cell because of the air it takes to play. That was beautiful, but how many brain cells did she just lose.

May I recommend an oboe piece from a band called King Crimson? It's a second part of the Lizard suite, called bolero. Check it out...I think it's on the tube. A beautiful piece, really!

I played the oboe all through junior high, high school and college...I even sat 3rd chair with the Cleveland Philharmonic when only in junior high school... I love the lament and the beauty of the tone of an oboe when well played I am black so I did not turn red. This piece is so very beautiful and captures the haunting yet beautiful and playful (if you will) character of the instrument.

I love how everyone else in the orchestra is so calm and relaxed, and the oboe player has to put a lot of effort into playing. lol that's just like me in band! except i get a lot more red in the face when playing my oboe...

awesome piece! well played! GG
