Mountain most of their early career was a 4-piece - West, Laing, Pappalardi, and Steve Knight

The Pappalardi murder story has not been told to the mainstream.Young mainstream music fans don`t even know about it.Yet it`s just as fascinating as Morrison or Hendrix`s demise. The Hall admits on more than music- Madonna is a cultural icon supposedly justifying her admission.A book or at least a movie is necessary -no doubt about it.Why don`t you do a book or movie on Mountain....including the Pappalardi murder.Perhaps some of the players (Attorneys, witnesses etc.) are still alive.

Mountain was ALL STAR POWER. The recognition sadly came too late for Mountain. Mountain was very difficult to market in those days. Too hard, too bluesy, to psychedelic, they just didn't FIT into a common mold. And THAT uniqueness later made them cult heroes. 40+ years of creating some of the best rock and roll music and blues music should be PLENTY to get them in. If Madonna could make it in.. Mountain should have long been in.

Mountain in the Hall of Fame?Unlikely. Not enough star power and recognition. The right book on Mountain would change things. The writer could feature Mountain`s unique timeless musuc AND the irony of Felix`s murder.
The writer must be willing to spend
long hours researching the book. He must be inspired with a mission. If the book is good enough, it will lead to great interest in Mountain. The R&R Hall of Fame would soon beckon. What are you waiting for man?
