Get a clue? Here is a little clue for you... the minor scale IS MUSIC THEORY. It's not technique. I would guess that you don't play an instrument... and if you did play an instrument I would surely assume that you play it extremely poorly. You don't teach scales this way. It's not a song tab, it's a diatonic scale, for christ's sake.

I hope for your sake that you're lying about being 25. Otherwise you're doomed.

Yea....because this isn't music theory class. He's teaching techniques for playing guitar. You know? The whole point of the video? I guess you missed the "Guitar Lesson" part. It doesn't say "Music Theory." Get a clue...

Why would he do that? I completely agree with him, this video is rubbish for teaching. It doesn't explain the logic behind the whole and half steps in the minor scale. He doesn't explain why the key of A is the natural minor scale... he just gives you finger positions and tells you to play it. This is not teaching, at all.
