i prefer sikth to meshuggah, mostly because they put on a much better liuve show, and because its not just the "tomas haake" experience, which is what all meshuggah albums apart from C33 and nothing are.

Meshuggah were really the main innovators of the really really heavy complex shit. They do it much better, but then again, its a different style. Meshuggah FTW. Their new album, by the way. My God. All tuned to F. Unbelievable. It gets played non stop in my car.

I just went and listened to a couple of Meshuggah songs and they are pretty bland seem ing to consist little more than shouting and inane sort of anti music. Probably the sort of idiots that think being anti christian and anti mainstream for the ske of it is "cool".
People like that are so largely because they have nothing to say and are jealous, ofcourse they may have some sob stories but in the scheme of things it realy come across as a bit pathetic.

I also looked this band up cause someone said they sounded like Protest The Hero. I don't see much of a resemblence, and imo, PTH is still better. Nonetheless, I am impressed; will keep an eye on these guys.
