I can completely relate to this film. My grandfather is only 65 and already has quite advanced dementia. It's terrible to see the way he can't recognize his own children and grandchildren - each time I visit he introduces himself. Christmas was very difficult this year.

It's one of the most painful things a family can go through... a lot like watching someone you love being slowly and painfully taken away from you.

Beautiful, moving film.

That's what Alzheimers does; they even forget their own family. My mother had it slightly before she died from pneumonia. It's a really sad thing!
