Big Fucking Deal! You track bike hipsters are just biting off bmx with your fake flatland and shitty curb tricks. We've been breakless in SF for years, and you make a video about it! Go count your dick.

Dude, all you did in that movie is go down hills. A rock can do that if you push it. If you're going to make a video to inflate your ego you should at least try not to look like a moron in it. Free wheel w/ no brakes is just dumb.

He may or may not be a likeable person, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a real danger to other people if this is how he rides.
"you cant stand the fact that he has more balls than you ever will "
Seriously, no offence, I couldn't care less. You've misunderstood that my grouch is that this is promoting a way of riding that can get innocent people killed. I've been on 2 wheels for 20+ years, fixed, free, motorised, and had enough experience to recognise really dangerous riding.

Sorry, still haven't finished...more moronic bullshit about being in control of the road etc. No, on a freewheel with no brakes you're not. Even on fixed, riding with no brakes is a victory of aesthetics/fashion over reality. Self delusional, yes.
Part of me thinks this little vid is a wind-up of the 'fix-push' variety, it's so obviously WRONG, but even if it was, the 'actor' did actually ride like that on the public highway, so all the above stands.

I wasn't left room to add the following: Cutting intersections, and heading directly into oncoming traffic; more moronic behaviour, endangering OTHER peoples lives, who may use knee-jerk reactions in response to unexpectedly seeing someone heading directly at them...saving YOUR life they could die or kill someone else.
eckythump01 (August 30, 2008 at 11:47 pm)
We've all met someone who yaks about how 'crazy' and 'spontaneous' they are. Those 'spontaneous' stunts are aimed at getting attention because they feel insecure and need to prove something. Tell them they're an idiot and in their own mind they're hearing 'wow, that was sooo cool, I couldn't do that'.
Wake-up call. You really are an idiot/moron, etc; its not a statement of respect for stupid stunts, it's a statement of lack of respect.

Dougland2008 (August 18, 2008 at 8:08 pm)
this is your want to be cool way of getting out of riding a real bike, a fixed gear. Lame.

phdecora (July 2, 2008 at 12:15 am)
its ok to use a brake if you want, theres no law against it... take care dude...
sv650touring (June 24, 2008 at 10:34 pm)
There's only one reason why this guy rides freewheel and no brake (in sf?): A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO IMPRESS PEOPLE.Fixed&brakeless is risky and dangerous, but this tool is just reckless. What possible *good* thing can come of this? Oh yeah, a really sweet YouTube video of just how EfFiNg CraZeE U r!!1!1 zomg, Leddd Zeppppelin mashups!

Unless there wasn't a pad on his seat tube or down tube. I'm confusing myself.
