im a drummer and i know a good drummer can play awesome solos and fast but a real drummer can play with traditional sticking and with his eyes closed and make a lot of sound come from a small set! ROCK ON GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at it this way: If all bands are playing the same thing, which is the opposite of this video, wouldn't it be more progressive to challenge that? Prog isn't about changes like chords, but more changes like playing different things. ANYWAY, this video is awesome. I love the use of modes in here. It's very cool.
It's just because it's the same key, tempo, and scales.
