I wanna say to all the critics out there, this guy is the greatest!!! And he got the position at Dissection but couldn't start with the band because of Visa issues. So, to anyone who's saying bad things, try to get a job at a descent well-known band or show my what you got...

The only problem is that if you press harder than usual you don't get the same note... the pitch is higher due to more tension being put on the string...

no, metal bars are in their place as they are on usual fretboard. These hollows are between frets, the wood parts between frets are deeper than on normal fretboard :)

1. yes of course :)
2. yes it is good to play everything but you need to have more finger control because if you point your finger too hard the note may sound out of tune; and it is easier to do bendings and vibratos, the sound is much more cleaner

scalloped fretboard means that in between each fret they trimmed the board down so when you play a note you dont touch the fretboard instead the strings are able to hit the frets without any twanging sound and its a cleaner sound and easier to bend

i have a few questions about having a scalloped fretboard..1. can you do good pinch harmonics with your fretboard scalloped?2. is it still good for playing chords and what not?3. how long does it take to get used to?please let me know. thanks
