Drill n Bass is sort of just an old name for Breakcore before there was a Breakcore. Like proto-breakcore. So Vsnares might count as drill n bass, idunno.and I've never seen anyone who knows their shit bitch about genres destroying music.
People categorize things in general.

It could be called Karen for all I fucking care, labels are what destroy music nowadays, creating barriers that dont really exist in anywhere but a imaginary place created by record labels. It's like describing NIN as pop rock. The beats in this music are syncopated and in odd timings whereas techno and electonica focus on generic time signatures, predictable bass-snare-hi hat strong beat/weak beat patterns with no regard for melody or harmony.

I HATE IT when venetian snares is described as techno or electronica etc it makes it sound like i listen to some shitty rave or something even though that the rave those stupid little shitty head chavs listen too isn't real rave The Prodigy invented rave and they aren't too bad
