..Suddenly, in the late forties two new species of goatsbeard appeared near Pullman, Washington. Although the new species were similar in appearance to the hybrids, they produced fertile offspring. The evolutionary process had created a separate species that could reproduce but not mate with the goatsbeard plants from which it had evolved."Speciation for ya. From talkorigins. If only you are capable of doing research.
alyu100tw (December 7, 2008 at 2:03 pm)
"Three species of wildflowers called goatsbeards were introduced to the United States from Europe shortly after the turn of the century. Within a few decades their populations expanded and began to encounter one another in the American West. Whenever mixed populations occurred, the specied interbred (hybridizing) producing sterile hybrid offspring."

that's exactly what evolutionists do whether they admit it or not, they might not give their god a name of God, but they make science and carnal knowledge their god and string together the evidence of fossils (for example) and create the on dogmatic dogma of Darwinism/evolution.
how much proof must i examine before that piece of irrefutable evidence for evolution becomes known? why not present it first? where is it? if it is so readily available, just send me the link.

The proof is widely available. Once again, your personal incredulity is constructing your reality of the Universe. You assume because you haven't struck upon convincing evidence that somehow the evidence doesn't exist. I'm sorry you approach science this way. You ask for proof with the same mouth that shouts,"faith is sufficient evidence." How about I use your tactics. (I know evolution happened because I prayed about it. I don't need proof, I have faith.) Doesn't that sound silly?
NeoSentience1 (November 7, 2008 at 9:29 pm)
no, evolution doesn't shake my faith at all. but i must speak the truth. if there was ANY proof of evolution then it would be widely available and it would be obvious even to the layman. but it has to stretch beyond its limits to pull two facts together in order to imagine the connections. yet it also takes studying it so deeply and having to have preconceived evolutionary ideas in order to get to the next level makes it sound like a belief system (aka religion, or doctrine to support atheism).
jwil2570 (November 7, 2008 at 9:12 pm)
You keep assuming that evolution somehow disproves your god. I'm telling you to except the science and keep your god. Your god doesn't want you denying how he/she does their work.
jwil2570 (November 7, 2008 at 9:05 pm)
P.S. You opinions are formed from simply not knowing enough about the subject. That is all.
jwil2570 (November 7, 2008 at 9:01 pm)
Genesis doesn't support the millions of extinct animals. Nor does it support the fact that many animals today do not have any fossil evidence for them existing during the Triassic, Jurassic, or Cretaceous periods. In my opinion, there is no argument here.

"Yes, the idea of Adam evolving straight from sand is just lunacy"
get the story straight: God formed Adam from the dust of the earth and BREATHED life into him
i have studied evolution enough to know that it doesn't have a leg to stand on. everything that it claims as support could just as well support creation as defined in Genesis

Yes, the idea of Adam evolving straight from sand is just lunacy. I haven't done a cross country flight in a few months. It would be worth the fuel cost. Besides I could use the hours. I'm just curious why your trying to talk about evolution, if you have no idea how it works? The universe isn't subject to your understanding of it. I could teach you, but it would be much easier for you to just start researching it for yourself. You haven't yet. If you had, you wouldn't hold such opinions.
NeoSentience1 (November 7, 2008 at 8:05 pm)
i would love that, but i think you are full of hot air.
but before you waste to money on fuel, make sure you don't waste our time. let's talk macro-evolution and not just adaptation within a species.
we all know adaptation within a species is fact. but the idea of one species evolving into another is just lunacy.

Actually certain bacteria can evolve within weeks. Pay attention in biology class next year. Also the evolution of those bacteria are fully document and were produced in labs. Physical documented evidence my friend. I major in biology. If you would like me to give you a presentation on evolution I will gladly fly my cessna to wherever you live. :)

So, they're goal why they've sent Rover: Spirit is to find rock (or other) evidences of water in Mars.

I love you. I wish everyone was into Astronomy. :( Everyones to busy watching porn and getting high. Sadness. . . .
jwil2570 (November 1, 2008 at 6:14 am)
Your opinion doesn't skew reality. This is why we aren't really annoyed by what you have to say. I love how you not knowing the mechanism of natural selection, means that evolution didn't happen. How about you learn how it works, then comment on it. If you truly took a class on evolution you wouldn't be trying to falsify it. Stop bringing your filthy religious views into science. The Earth revolves around the Sun, and it isn't the center of the Universe. Just a reminder of past religious views.
jag305 (November 1, 2008 at 12:50 am)
Are you guys arguing about evolution, or about the origin of life? Hate to burst your bubble, but the theory of evolution is firmly rooted in scientific studies, it's not fiction (or religion). And it doesn't actually posit much about the origin of life at this point...it's concerned with how life changes over time through mutation and natural selection.
99Maic (October 31, 2008 at 2:33 pm)
Whatever you say.
NeoSentience1 (October 31, 2008 at 1:12 pm)
no. science is science. my view of it is perfect. evolution is NOT science, it has been passed off as science and there is a reason for it, but i doubt you will believe truth since your view of science is off by BELIEVING in the religion of evolution.
