During the COLD WAR, Soviet Union have LONG-RANGED Fighter Bombers as well, so USA MILITARY is well versed in dealing with those kind of THREATS!

Pentagon is the BRAIN (nerve center) of USA MILITARY! Yet, it was easily attacked by a SLOW-MOVING BIG Yellow Bus (or aka Jumbo Jets) [not STEALTHY B-2] during 911 Inside Job!!

I-Hawk SAM System and Patriot SAM System would had easily shot the Jumbo Jets down at the Pentagon even without scrambling the Jet Fighters (such as F-16 and F-15) on nearby Air Bases!!

The goverment Denies of ever having a warning. Well the British,German,Italian,French,Canadian,and even the Taliban warned us of a possible attack. Also for some reason 3 monthes before the Attack. Cheney signed a document taking away the power of the current general of NORAD (the basically train to stop Hijackings) was stripped of power and the control of NORAD was given to Cheney. Cheney did not order NORAD to respond until the 2nd plane hit.

It cites actual articles (with two from the government; one American, the other Canadian) published before 9/11 that show that General Richard Myers, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the 9/11 Commission when he said NORAD was "looking outward". Pass this article on. Not even David Ray Griffin has provided this type of documentation proving that NORAD monitored AND controlled American/Canadian airspace on and before 9/11.

actually we have guard bases all over with jets ready round the clock, that's what guard bases are for, that and reserve troops for deployments. active duty bases are more for training and deployments. however there are a number of bases in that area that have f-16s and 15s (air2air)loaded and ready to go 24/7. i load weapons for the air force, i would know that's my job, so dont talk about things YOU DON'T KNOW. the idea of hijacked planes flying into the trade towers was concieved in the 70's.
