watch them starting at 4, that way the series has more suspense throughout. Also if you start with the 1,2,and 3 you may be dissapointed with the quality of the next three. Personally i think the story line 4-6 is better but some people aren't able to handle older movies so jumping from amazing effects to amazing for its time but low in today's standards might be disappointing. If that makes any sense.

Movie trailers back then were very different from those today. This trailer is a very good example of that. You must understand, there weren't really any "blockbusters" until Star Wars. Usually, movie trailers didn't require all the action or suspense that they have today. Editing a movie trailer is now it's own process. Now they offices dedicated to just trailer editing. Search for more trailers from this era and you'll find that they are very similar in style. Just saying.

Yeah I know if I saw that trailer in the theatres back in 77 I would say to my buddy or whoever Im sitting beside "damn that movies looks stupid" turns out this movie is one of my favourites the trailer makes it look really Dark and wierd.
