i think chapman sticks "usually" are 10 stringed because one side is suppost to be a guitar, and the other side a bass.

I've been playing guitar for 5 years. Would that help me learn to play one of these puppies?
FAUVEEX (December 22, 2008 at 8:50 pm)
Really good performance.I hope such a great player plays my tunes someday.
dannicron (December 18, 2008 at 8:03 pm)
it sounds a bit like kayleigh from marillion.. don't you think?
rpmartino (December 18, 2008 at 4:40 pm)
I've been focusing on it as my main instrument for 4 years, basically not playing anything else in that time. I did have previous experience with other instruments and formal music education which does help.
At least for the kind of music I'm doing, it does take a significant amount of practice but it is far more satisfying and fun than any other instrument I've played.

Hey, despite the fact that it cost thousands of dollars, and the sound is awesome, how hard is it to play? and how long have you been playing? Is it worth it?
