2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 Stoppies and Wheelies
This is me on my stock gixa 600 k6 doing some wheelies and stoppies..I was still learning wheelies at the time cause i was noobing it up. started to get the stoppies on dial tho. for everyone that has asked me, and the messages i constantly get. i use 2 fingers on the frnt brake when doing stoppies and allways do. i use 1 or 2 fingers on the clutch when clutchingup wheelies. bike is in first gear. The bike is stock. message me if u need to ask anything else
brakes are stock rubber hose. not steal braided

I think they are reinforced with copper inside the rubber, so you likely wont blow one. People replace them mainly because of more consistent braking since rubber tends to expand, soften, and stiffen depending on temperature. SS lines dont do that. Ive heard they improve braking power, but...really you can only brake so hard before your wheel locks up anyway.

o ok, cool thanks, just didnt wanna go blowing a line! but probably will end up doing that with my luck,lol...

Im pretty sure you can still stoppie w/ stock rubber brake lines. SS would be better though.

is the bike totally stock, no steel braided brake lines is what im really asking cuz i heard those are really needed to do stoppies like that, and i want to start doing them but was worried with regular stock brake lines?

your clutch plates are fine now, but Im just saying that prolonged periods of slipping your clutch will wear your plates a bit quicker than normal. I was referring to slipping a clutch to wheelie, not so much burnouts. Burnouts just chew rubber off your tire. I quit doing them cause I aint rich. :)I slip mine all the time too for wheelies. :-). I got the same year bike but a 750. I need to practice stoppies, so I can roll them like you can. Thats awesome

yakitoriPB: My clutch plates are fine, Its just constant slipping from doing burnouts. If u use the clutch properly its fine

it doesnt break your engine. Worst thing is ruin your clutch plates.

impressive stoppies. Your wheelies arent quite to bp yet though.

i had a k5 600, then took a rip on mates k6/k7 and found u had to snap trottle more aggressively, and up a bit higher in the revs, i put this down to the slipper clutch but still was able to wheelie it, just had to be bit more agressive

FOR EVERYONE:
NEVER DO THE WHEELIE WITH CLUTCH !!!
why ?
cuz u can broke your whole engine....
try to go 20 km/h and than full power and the bike will go on one wheel !!!

djbyzantine: To sum it up nice and sweet. It sounds like ure not being aggressive enough. if the suspension is saggin and its not doing wheelies. ure not getting on the throttle hard enough. As for clutching it up. The bike is only leapin fowards cause ure again, Not being aggresive enough.
hope this helps :D
