Do guitar straps make you play better?

So I asked myself, do guitar straps make you play better?

After watching the video, the conclusion that I should have come to is that I should havestrangled myself WITH THAT GUITAR STRAP after playing McFly riffs only 10 seconds away from Rage Against The Machine! Oh well...
