3 reasons:1) the guitar isn't johns style and he didnt bother learning it when he returned, focusing on his own new found style for cali.2) anthony and flea weren't too happy with this album and the time of their lives it was made in, ant back on drugs and fleas family problems so they avoid playing songs.3)they realise that the number of fans who like the thing is probably a 5th or less of their total fan base.the stuffs jus too dark for them nowadays.

yeah true, fleas bass is about the only good thing on this album tbh imo. i do appreciate the songs for what they are and represent, but dont like listening to them as much as other stuff. RHCP for life.

shallow be thy game has to be one of their best tune's but u cant forget coffee shop or one big mob, or airplane....in fact, its just a bloody good album, as u say, flea does rule the bass on this album

That's going to be tough, singles with songs such as these are either out of print, or really hard to find, and many stores dont sell them anymore. So if you want the actual CDs you are gonna have to buy them online. (that's what I did)

OHM great album. Not to say that it did not take me a while to convert on this on though. Re-purchased the album this year - so many great memories come rushing back to the surface - but I have infinitaly more appreciation for it now. Flea's base really drives the album more than ever without Frusciante. Yes, Navarro is almost transparent on some tracks, but not all. Fav tracks: Warped, Walkabout, Shallow Be Thy Game. Holy f@#k chorus of Shallow Be Thy Game is great energy.

I've heard they've decided OHM shouldnt be a too funky album, so they've only kept 2-3 funky ones. I don't think its been a good decision, to add more old school funky tracks would have made the album richer in terms of variety.
